Space Offering
Located underground, the 1,750 s.f. room has a multi-faceted perimeter (23 sides) with three columns and a change of level.

Challenge
All the angles, columns and change of level translate into disorder and fussiness, potentially competing with the artwork.

Architect's Vision
A strong composition made of thick, dark grey and free-standing walls, in which two of the three columns are concealed, contributes to anchor down the dizzying space. The new walls' strength and simplicity offers the visual relief, which is necessary for contemplation.
